The Avalon is available with two different powertrains. The base engine is a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. If you're looking for something that won't cost you too much at the gas pumps, you're in luck! Toyota also offers an Avalon with a hybrid powertrain. These models are powered by a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine and two electric motors. This setup is paired with an automatic continuously-variable transmission.
